You cant just “get a discount” you have to shop around and find the best price.
ps- beware.. at all cost.. of “direct general” or “florida no fault” or “cash direct” in florida.

I cant exactly give a pointers on how you can get a car insurance discount because only car insurance company can maybe assess your status if you are entitled for that. All i can I say is search it on the net and find some insurance company that offering cheap car insurance try to visit this site collect quotations from here and seek some information and choose which company can give you the things that you need.

How long have you been with Geico is something you want to consider as well as your pay history? Any cancellation notices? Recent claims? Call Geico and ask them have your policy reviewed by the underwriting department. Also review over your usage(the way you tell Geico you drive your car). After all that then ask about discounts.
