So I want to purchase a motorcycle when I turn 18 soon. I can’t afford insurance. Do i HAVE to have insurance? Can it be registered and everything else without insurance?

YES. Especially in NY. The cops love to confiscate bikes. In order to register you have to have insurance. Don’t forget your helmet. You do know that your insurance will cost more than your bike, Right? gl

You must have insurance in order to finance a vehicle of any kind and it is illegal to operate any motorized vehicle without insurance in any state.
