    It’s going to depend on where you plan on operating, and if you plan on letting minors use the canoes.

    I’d guess that liability would start at $2500 for inland waters (rivers/lakes no whitewaters), but it’s not going to be as bad as you think , if you inspect the boats nightly, and provide life jackets.
