I am pretty healthy, and for now I’m looking to stay cheap and just cover all the bases. I’m not married, but adding a spouse eventually is important.

Check out clarkhoward.com. He has two insurances for his pick as best, one of which is just for veterans.

Actually, it depends on what you can afford and what your employer has available. It ain’t cheap! After getting back from Iraq in 2005, I was lay ed off my job because of out sourcing. Since then, I have been using the VA Medical center, and have been happy with the way they have treated me. How ever, it would be nice to have regular employment and pay for it myself. My advise? Stay in!

Right now we are recieving State Medicaid and they are going us all kinds of trouble. They all tring to tell us that my husbands G.I. bill is income!!! Can you beleive it! Good luck finding something that works for your family. We all know how hard it is to find some decent medical insurance here in this country

If you are retiring – spend the $400 bucks or so for Tri-Care – its worth it.
