teen Motorcycle riders in CA?

moto insurance



Anyone ride a motorcycle in CA who are 18 and under?, can you also tell me what bike you ride and how much doy ou pay for insurance?

I ask a question earlier if how much would moto insurance cost for a 16 year old in a 600cc ss and I cant afford….and told me to get a moped instead, how bout a 250r? would it be cheaper and affordable for me?

    im 17 and ride a dr-z400supermoto.

    insurance is about $200 a year.
    and YES a 250r would be really good for a first bike.

    yes you can but you will have to go thru the motorcycle safty course and only after sucsessfully completeing and passing the course can you get a M1 license for motorcycles as far as size a 250cc bike would be a good starter bike

    If ss stands for super-sport then you cannot afford the insurance. Might want to look into estimates for parallel twins: GS500E, EX500R, GS500F, CB600F, EX650R; or even better, v-twins: SV650, SV650S. But if you insist on an in-line four like CBR, YZF, ZX, GSXR, then look for one that is 7-10 years older.
