OK, sign up for the riders safety course. They offer them nation wide at different locations. ONCE you have COMPLETED the course and have a certificate to back it up you should get a discount on your ins policy. KEEP in mind you can get just basic insurance for like a few hundred per year. BUT I would think you’d want more than that more so since this is your first bike. GOOD LUCK.

I use progressive. Cheap as anyone, plus it has the roadside assistance program. Vital

I have liberty Mutual. I have heard that countrywide is also inexpensive. You want to find a company that quotes a price based on the number of cc’s instead of whether it’s a sportbike or standard or whatever. good luck and ride safe.
